Will Wiseless charging system be the future of EV charging?
The battery pack in an electric vehicle is far superior to a conventional gas tank. It is the powerplant, the most significant, costly, and bulky part of the vehicle. The electric vehicle's battery controls the vehicle's range, recharge time, performance, handling, power, cost, and safety. Newer Li-ion batteries may be charged up to ten times quicker than today's traditional EV batteries and have greater range (better energy density).
So why haven't electric vehicles
(EVs) completely replaced gas-powered vehicles by now? Due to range anxiety and
slow charging times, EVs have been compelled to employ excessively big and
costly batteries. The price of the battery is a major factor in the overall
price of an EV, and conventional batteries haven't exactly impressed people
with their performance in terms of range and energy density. When electric
vehicles (EVs) ultimately match customer (and fleet) expectations for ease and
price, only then will we see widespread adoption. That will help EVs become
more convenient than gas automobiles, and more inexpensive to millions of
people to buy and enjoy.
Ultimate Fast Charging
Traditional electric car
batteries require at least a few hours to fully charge. Statiq’s revolutionary
high-density, fast-charging battery technology, however, reduces that time to
just a few minutes. The result is a charging time that is 10 times faster than
the standard EV batteries available today.
You may feel confident hitting
the road in your electric vehicle (EV) knowing that a quick charge at a fast
charging station along a street or highway may just take five or ten minutes.
With a very quick charge, an electric automobile can go the same distance as a
gas-powered vehicle in the same amount of time. Unlike with a gas-powered
vehicle, homeowners may leave the house with a fully charged electric vehicle.
The residents of an apartment complex may easily and quickly top off their
batteries before hitting the road or upon arrival.
How does Electric Charging Technology work?
Magnetic fields are used to
transmit power via inductive coupling between wire coils (inductive charging),
while electric fields are used to transfer power via capacitive coupling
between metal electrodes (capacitive charging). The most popular form of
wireless charging is inductive. The market will be dominated by magnetic
resonant wireless EV charging India, which
is also the current worldwide standard for electric vehicles.
In electric vehicles equipped for
wireless charging, the vehicle's batteries may be charged simply by parking
over a charging station. It may eventually play a significant role in the
infrastructure supporting driverless vehicles.
Vehicle and ground components
make up the wireless charging system. The receiver pad and electronics module
make up the vehicle side of the wireless charging system. The battery is
charged directly from the high-frequency alternating current (AC) that is
converted to direct current (DC). Connected to a control box underground is a
charging pad embedded in the sidewalk. The electronics box produces
high-frequency AC power, which is then sent to the charging pad and ultimately
to the car. From a technological standpoint, higher power levels for wireless
charging are required.
